Alice Adamson
Deputy Director – Rehabilitation Strategy and Interventions, Ministry of Justice,
Alice has been leading for HMPPS on Rehabilitation and Reducing Reoffending since June 2022, where she is responsible for the agency’s strategic approach to rehabiliation as well as psychological interventions, family and relationships and chaplaincy. She is passionate about creating opportunities for people to change their lives for the better. Over the previous six years in the Ministry of Justice Alice has worked across multiple jurisdications in policy roles as well as taking the lead on Human Rights and international engagement. Before moving to HMPPS Alice spent 6 months as interim Director for Victims and Vulnerabilities policy, leading on the government’s end-to-end Rape Review, introduction of the draft Victims Bill and overseeing over £180m investment into victim support services
